New inspiration for next body of work Marie Antoinette dresses.

It’s been awhile since I’ve put brush to canvas, but I haven’t stopped searching for new inspiration. My love of fashion and beautiful objects has lead me to search of beauty back in history to a time of fairytale opulence. The 17th century Marie Antionette is an intriguing character—from an Austrian princess to becoming Queen of France to her dramatic death. Everything is abundant, lush and gilded in gold. So much to observe and recreate the queen of fashion and scandal!
